We are of opinion that Mr. Dny's revised salary should have been that represented by his actual scrrico in tho pro-revision scalo .1.0. 5 incromonts (2225) from ist of January, 1930, and a sixth (2340) from 1st of April 1930, the anniversary of his transfor to a sterling salary: but though the amount overpaid is considerablo its recovery would be a serious drain on the officon ́g
salary and we recommend his case for lenient treatment, (16) Mr.J.J. Osborno (Class III, Senior Clerical
& Accounting Staff, also serving in the Post Office) has on similar grounds boon allottod a rovised salary of £430 as against a pro-rovision salary of £300 and drow a further incroment of £15 per annum from let of Junc, 1930. In his case we consider the commock
salary to bo £400 on the 1st of January 1930 and £415
on the 1st of Juno, 1930, but recommend that horo al so the matter of a refund be leniently dealt with,
(c) Mrs. G. Stubbings, Mistress in the Education Department has submitted an application for a higher revised salary based on the same grounds as wero advanced by Mr. Handy side of the same dopurtmont, thich are dealt with in paragraph 50 of our roport (First Scction). For the reasons there given we are unablo to support her request.
